Seeff made promises they refuse to keep

While in the process of registration of the property I was buying I noticed that the kitchen cupboard was rotten from water damage. I called the estate agent Nicholas and reported this to him and I was told that this fault will be sorted. I waited and was called in to sign the final document and I called him and he promised me that this will be resolved and he is busy with a negotiation with the owner to give me a payment back in light of the repair and that it will be fair. He said I must sign or they will charge me more rent and this is holding up the deal. I took his advice and signed and received the amount of R1310 to replace the kitchen cupboard since the day I signed the estate agent has not bothered about keeping his promise although I have made several attempts now that they have been paid they don't care. They misrepresented themselves to get me to sign with the promised to me a of fair settlement. You cannot replace a kitchen cupboard for R1310. Now they say its my not them its the buyer.
