Property was rented for 10 Months every month paid on time , when the owner decided to sell the property... 20 Days notice was given by the tenant as per contractual agreement, Seeff agency now refuse to pay back damage deposit of R13500.

This is unfair practice and i would like to caution people to not use there services as they do not keep to there word and contractual agreements.

What a landlord cannot do when a lease is cancelled early: -Withhold the deposit -Force the tenant to pay rent for the remainder of the lease -Charge an unreasonable cancellation fee
