Seeff Blouberg - my useless, but paid, rental agent

<p>I have been using Seeff in Blouberg to manage my property lease for a year and have renewed only because the tenants are looking after the property. Seeff is being paid for managing the property and are supposed to be responsible for collection of rent, utilities, maintenance of the property, etc. The journey with the agent started by a miscommunication from Karina on the move-in date between myself and the tenants. Then the rental agent was non responsive on various queries, then my utilities were not paid for months without the agent questioning it until I raised it, the tenants are directly contacting me for simple maintenance matters because the agent doesnt respond to them, The rental renewal agreement reflected the wrong amount on the contract and it signature was not obtained from the tenant until 2 weeks into the new lease term (this should be done 60 days before the lease term is up) and now finally my rent has not been paid and the agent doesnt even seem to pick this up. SEEFF are poor managing agents who do not do the basics of property management and are causing me endless headaches which are all avoidable. I do not recommend anyone ever using them either as a tenant or a landlord</p>
