Seeff Bellville - Bad Service from Henry Adams

In August 2015 I purchased a house In Glenlily, Parow. The Agent who sold the house to me was Henry Adams. Upon negotiations on the sale we were advised not to offer less but to stipulate the repairs needed to be done. However, we were not told of broken or damaged items within the house, (Broken Extractor in the kitchen, Pool light not working, defective wiring in the house, Damaged windows, Roof leaks, etc). I contacted the agent and have been trying to resolve the issues but to no avail. According to the agent in October 2015 the seller has agreed to replace and repair but cannot due to a lack of funds since renovating his new property and being unable to sell his other property in Bontehuewel. He advised that I need to be patient. I also spoke to the branch manager and even after sending a email to the regional manager of the western capes office, I received no further feedback. Everything is still broken or damaged! This just goes to show that as long as the agent has received his commission and he has kept the seller happy, then he is not interested in the buyer. I will be contacting the news papers about this issue and will never ever do business with Seeff properties again!
