*********** Agents with very bad attitudes

Rented from Seeff in Dana Bay. Paid our deposit upfront. From the get go the agent, Madeleine, was unpleasant to deal with. No proper entry inspection was done. We had to give notice 3 months later, as we have been transferred in work to another town. The agent did not see reason into this. We have provided the agent with proof of our transfer and arranged a exit inspection. The agent left us waiting for 2 hours even after we scheduled a appointment. She came in very rude, closed the windows, questioned us about certain things in the house which was pointed out that was not us, she took the keys and left. Then she assured us that our deposit will be paid out. On the "pay ou" date I was contacted to say we forfeit our deposit! We arranged a meeting with the office manager and spoke to the principal to do a investigation why the agent did not do her work and make promises which was not hers to make. After over a month of fighting, our deposit was paid out and WE, the tenants had to pay for a so-called exit inspection....This is not the responsibility of a tenant.

SEEFF must really check on their agent's abilities to practice as a lot of steps was skipped in our contract! I Will NEVER make use of them again or recommend them to anyone.
