Deposit Refund

Rented from them, never paid late or had a bill outstanding. They however have poor communication with the owner in London and wasn't able to resolve a broken tumble dryer, fridge and water leak. This has all lead to an expense on my side through a whole fridge of rotten food for example. Seeff however just decided that they will still subtract all arrears on water off my deposit after I asked that we settle the dispute between the owner and Seeff separately. They did not consult with me or sent me a final invoice before refunding the deposit. They claim that they can take whatever they need out of the deposit to cover their pocket even if the money is owed to the tenant and it should have actually be recovered from the owner. Also very poor customer service from the office I rented from..... Seeff Sandton located in Lonehill. Be very careful of them, even if you are a honest tenant they take care of their own needs and pockets not that of the tenant.
