9 Parkes lane and Seeff rentals knysna

Beware of relying on the Seeff brand to provide comfort that your holiday rental is up to scratch. We recently rented 9 Parkes lane on leisure isle. It is not a unit that I would recommend to anyone. It is very dirty, the bed linen had holes in it, the towels provided are stained and dirty, the kitchen stove plates are rusted and even the colander is rusted and can only be described as unhygienic. The couches are disgusting- very dirty and basically nothing more than converted pallets with cushions ( dirty) The photographs offered on the site do not unfortunately give a true reflection of the state of the unit. The agents are also not too concerned- blaming a property management company. I am of the view that the agents knowingly marketed this property despite it being in such a poor state. Surely if you advertise a property on your site you have done basic duty of care to ensure that the property being advertised does meet certain basic criteria. I won’t be using Seeff knysna again and would not recommend them to anyone. Definitely give them and 9 Parkes lane a miss.
