STAY AWAY FROM SEALY BEDS
I am not happy with sealy beds at all. I logged a complaint at House & Home regarding Sealy bed that ii sagging/sinking in the middle, mattress making a huge noise and they said they will logged a complain with Bravo Beds. Bravo Beds says I must pay R10 619.50 in order for them to replace my bed. Why do I have to pay such a huge amount whereas the bed is till under warrant? That's like buying a new bed. I am not happy at all with Sealy bed. Where is the warrant here?

30 Apr 2025, 11:22Hi Good Day Themba, thank you for your email, i have looked at the compliant and see that you bought 24/11/2017 thus you have been using the mattress for +- 7 years, you have a limited 10 years warrante 1 + 9. meaning 1 is guarantee and 9 warrantees, A Factory Guarantee Repair or Replacement Period is against faulty workmanship and faulty materials, not extending to damage caused by normal wear & tear, abuse, misuse or negligence. A Service Warranty Period is the balance of the period outside of the Guarantee period where the cost of repair or replacement is borne by the customer on a pro rata basis for the remainder of the Service Warranty Period. To determine the length of your warranty and its terms, simply match the range on your mattress label with the range on the below schedule. Thanks Verdi

30 Apr 2025, 11:57Hi Verdi,
There is no schedule attached. Please attach the schedule for me to match.
The mattress is sagging & making a noise because of a factory fault NOT my fault.
Kindly let me know how did you get to a pro-rata of R10 619.00?
