Pathetic quality Sealy Alon Firm Queen matress and base

Bought a bed at matress warehouse 27 January 2021. This weekend I cleaned my carpet the base was standing against the wall and fell over against the fan...guess what, the base is made of cardboard. Now they tell me it cannot be replaced under warranty because it's not a factory fault. Bottom line, if you used wood or any other type of material that will actually last more than 10 years it can fall over as many times and nothing will happen to the base. I had a cloud nine that lasted 20 years before I replaced it. I would never have paid for this bed if I knew that the base was made of cardboard. Who on earth sells cardboard to the public and then charges the R1700 for it?

They call it a Solid foundation base...what exactly is solid about it? If I wanted to sleep on cardboard, I would have gone to my local cafe and asked for carboard.
