Like sleeping on a bed of nails

I bought my mom a Sealy Posturepedic Jubilee Pamper Top Queen Base Set from Dial a Bed at Westgate. The ad which I still have said the comfort level of the bed is Plush. A year and a half later and the mattress feels like sleeping on a bed of nails covered by a sheet. I really wanted to spoil my mom when she turned 70 with a comfortable bed because the one she was using was very old. My mum is not a heavy woman and has been sleeping alone since my dad passed away 16 years ago. I'm not sure if this is a quality issue buy it brings tears to my eyes to think that she has to sleep on a uncomfortable bed like that especially since yesterday was Mothers Day.
