Extremely disappointing experience with Sealy / Bravo Brands – Warranty Claim Rejected
I purchased 4 x Sealy Orthopedic Pillows, expecting the quality and durability associated with the Sealy name. Unfortunately, after only approximately 7–8 months of normal use, the pillows started losing their firmness and support. This has resulted in ongoing poor and uncomfortable sleep and has become a serious issue for us.
I submitted a warranty claim to have the matter properly investigated. The response I received was essentially that "nothing is wrong" with the pillows and that this is apparently a "comfort issue."
I strongly disagree.
If this had simply been a matter of personal comfort or preference, why would I only raise the issue after 7–8 months? If the pillows were uncomfortable from the beginning, I would have complained from day one. The issue developed after months of use because the pillows lost their original firmness and support.
I disputed the decision and contacted Bravo Brands by phone. I was repeatedly told that management would contact me. I waited. Nobody contacted me.
I called again and was told the same thing — management would call me back. Again, nobody did.
I then emailed Bravo Brands on 27 August 2026 and followed up again on 18 September 2026. As of today, I have still received no response whatsoever.
I eventually contacted Dial-a-Bed in Boksburg, where I originally purchased the pillows, to try and get assistance. I want to acknowledge that Dial-a-Bed actually did assist by checking internally and communicating with Bravo Brands. Unfortunately, because Bravo Brands had already rejected the claim, Dial-a-Bed advised that there was nothing further they could do.
What is particularly disappointing is that this appears to be more than just my experience. Looking at publicly available customer reviews, I have found multiple other customers reporting similar experiences involving warranty claims being rejected, defects being disputed, customers being told that nothing is wrong, and serious difficulties obtaining feedback or communication from Bravo Brands.
I have identified at least 6 publicly available complaints matching the pattern of warranty/defect claims being rejected or the existence of a defect being disputed, as well as at least 5 complaints specifically raising issues around poor communication, no callbacks, lack of feedback or prolonged unresolved matters.
That makes my experience even more concerning.
I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for a fair investigation and proper customer service.
Four Sealy orthopedic pillows losing their firmness and support after only 7–8 months should not simply be dismissed as a "comfort issue" without properly addressing the deterioration being reported.
If Sealy and Bravo Brands stand behind the quality of their products, then I believe customers deserve more than:
"Nothing is wrong." "Management will call you back." …and then no call and no response to emails.
I purchased these products based on the Sealy name and the expectation of quality. Instead, I have experienced a warranty process that has been extremely frustrating, with no meaningful resolution and virtually no communication from Bravo Brands.
Bravo Brands / Sealy — I am asking you publicly to please take ownership of this complaint, properly investigate the deterioration of these pillows, and provide me with a reasonable resolution.
A customer should not have to repeatedly call, send emails, chase management and eventually resort to publicly raising the matter simply to get a response.
Very disappointing experience from a brand I expected much better from.
