My Fragrance Journey

I have always had smell sensitivity and apart from cheap nasty fragrances in my early 20's ...yes let's forgive our youthful infractions, I have never worn perfume. I have always avoided the perfume counters in shops...sorry again to that sales girl who spritzed her sample perfume at me that Saturday ..... and will deliberately avoid people with strong perfumes because inevitably they give me a headache. It can be so bad our office no longer has automatic air freshners because of my smell sensitivities. I am now in my late 40's and after discovering Scentimental I have started what I am calling my Fragrance Journey. My first ever perfume purchase from Scentimental in over 25 years was based on a colleague's scent that I really liked. I'm not entirely sure why I took the time to research the scent based on my predilection to perfume .... maybe a little self reinvention ....maybe a confidence booster ...whatever the reason, Sentimental's inspired-by travel size perfume has awoken me to a new world. Inspired-by perfumes can so often smell just plain nasty and cheap. Scentimental's quality is unsurpassed. Their perfume descriptions detailing top and base notes are, for a novice like me, who is learning what fragrances compliment me, invaluable. Although my first purchase has, without a doubt, become my signature scent I have purchased others, only using Scentimental's scent descriptions and my newly discovered preferred base notes as a starting point. I love the experience of each perfume, and the compliments I receive - compliments that should all go to Scentimental. My high praise has not gone unnoticed and at least two of my work colleagues have made purchases from Scentimental. My Fragrance Journey has become about me for me and with Scentimental at my side as my trusted partner, the journey is sure to be an amazing one.
