Beware of DSTV Installers & Repair men in Amanzimtoti & Durban surroundings - SATGURU - Installations Guru - C-Tech Projects

To the General Public of Amanzimtoti and surrounding areas, if you have a problem with your DSTV, be it repairs or a new installation I humbly suggest that you do not use any of the companies listed below. - SATGURU - Installations Guru - C-Tech Projects These are all the same company using different names to advertise their business. I had a problem with my DSTV last November where I was not receiving a signal, so I googled a few businesses to get quotes, all the quotes were around the same so I decided to just go with the last guy I spoke to, R300 callout fee + additional cost for any spares and labour with a 3 month warranty, the same day a technician was sent to my flat, I escorted him inside where he fiddled around with my decoder and came to a decision that the problem was outside at my dish. I advised him that he would need to use a ladder and safety harness for his own safety to get to my dish, he went to his vehicle took his ladder and some equipment. After climbing over the wall using his ladder, i could not see him very clearly, he called out to me saying that the LNB will have to be changed which would cost an extra R350, I knew this was a bit pricey but was eager to have my signal back so told him to proceed, a few minutes later he was done and climbed back over the wall, soon as he got over he advised that we would need to go back to my flat to set up the decoder, after he set it up and my signal was back I asked him if I could have the old damaged LNB to which he rep**** he left behind over the wall, I was so happy that my signal was back, I paid him the required R650 and he left. Two weeks later the problem started again, my signal was gone, so I called the gentleman back and explained to him over the phone knowing that I have a three month warranty, he rep**** by saying that he would come over later and check it out, the day passed and he did not show up, so I called him back to check if he was running late and he said he would come tomorrow, this went on for a few weeks everyday the same excuse, 'Later' or 'Tomorrow', by mid December his phone was permanently on voicemail but I did not give up, I even visited their website and emailed them but still no response eventually by mid January I was finally able to reach him again on his phone, again the day excuse day after day, 'Later' or 'Tomorrow', I grew tired of this and asked for his managers number, which just rings and goes to voicemail after numerous attempts, I then contacted the technician again and he said that he no longer works for that company, there is nothing he can do and as he is currently unemployed he wont be able to even refund me. So I googled the managers number and found all the different names this business was running as and kept trying the managers number, I visited the DSTV branch in Doonside and they said there is nothing they can do as these people dont work for them, yet on SATGURU's website it states that they are accredited DSTV installers. But I didnt give up still, kept trying the manager's number and eventually someone picked up, I explained my entire situation to which he apologised as I warned him that I would go public with my incident, he promised to have someone come over later that afternoon, but no one showed up, so called him back and then it started all over again 'Later' or 'Tomorrow', for about two days and then he stopped taking my calls, I advised him via whatsapp that I will report their company then a few hours later another gentleman phones me from another number saying that they will not be able to service me but would like to offer me a refund and I should forward my banking details, I told him that I have already been ****med too much by their company and there was no way I would provide my banking details and that they should rather send my refund to my cellphone number as all banks have this facility now, he said that he would need to discuss with the supervisor and get back to me, but these guys never get back to me I have to always phone back, so I did and he said they agreed to send my refund to my cellphone number. A day past and no refund so I called back and he said later today definitely by 2pm, its been two days now and I still have not received my refund or any communication from them. SO PLEASE BEWARE and DO NOT SUPPORT THESE *********, they may **** you out of far more than they did with me. Below I have listed the phone numbers by which I had communicated with them.
