Insanely expensive for a third of the service you pay for!
I have been paying for a 10MB line through Satsoft since March this year and not once did their line speed meet "quota". I have speed test records from which they average 4.35MB (with records) since we began with them. Despite multiple callouts and multiple complaints they still do not meet expectations to date. Their prices are ridiculously expensive for what you get too! R1667,5 for a 10MB line, whereas you can get 100mb up 100mb down or better for that price. They will additionally charge you for any additional callouts or "supposed fixes" along the way. Put it bluntly I would not recommend Satsoft. Herotel for example is a far better solution.

26 Aug 2021, 17:38So I crunched the numbers and my math was initially incorrect. A 10MB line runs on average at 3.74MB line speed to be exact since March of this year on multiple test exports. This means you are paying 181% of the price for a 10MB line that you would for a 100MB line running 36% capability on average or 0.36% with price taken into consideration of which you can claim between 16.3% to 43% back depending on how they want to handle it. By this I mean if you complain enough they may arrange a credit for "internet not obtained" but the amount you get back as credit for the following months equate to 16,31 - 43% at best of your payment made. I do not understand how you can market a product deliver a third of it and still have to pay excessive amount for a service not fully received. This would make a great Cart Blanche story its that bad...
