Totally Disgusted in Service Delivery (ANC Affiliation no wonder)

1.) On the 12th January 2024 my mother went to the SASSA offices in Springs, she arrived there at 10:40am in the morning, just to be told that the line for the day has been cut as there was administrative duties that the officials had to attend to. 2.) After a long period of struggling to register on the SASSA Services Portal we were able to register her for an old persons grant on the 23rd January 2024. The application was completed and all relevant certified documentation was loaded and the application was submitted. It then reflected "Application Submitted - Awaiting Assessment. 3.) By the 31st January 2024 when we accessed the SASSA Services portal and tracked the application it was still showing "Application Submitted - Awaiting Assessment" I sent through an e-mail to the GrantsEnquiriesGP email address as found on the SASSA website to ask if anyone can follow up. No one did 4.) By the 2nd February we accessed the SASSA Services Portal again and found still showing "Waiting Assessment" again I e-mailed GrantsEnquiriesGP and again no one rep**** or followed up 5.) By the 7th February again we accessed the SASSA Services Portal to find the application still showing "Waiting Assessment" I again sent an e-mail to GrantsEnquiriesGP as well as Complaints at SASSA (this e-mail address does not even work) and I included ThembaMat at SASSA as he was listed as the contact person for the Gauteng Region. Again no one rep**** or answered on the e-mails. 6.) Again today I accessed her profile to see what the status was of her application and to no amazement the application was still "Awaiting Assesment". Then I decided to e-mail every single e-mail address I could find on their website, Western Cape, Free State, Northern Cape, Eastern, Cape, North West, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Gauteng, KZN and all regional personell whos e-mail addresses where listed. I have received two undeliverable notifications at two of the e-mail addresses are not in working order, I received two or three read receipts of individuals I have included it was a total of 22 e-mail addresses and yet still no one is bothering to reply or just indicate that they will investigate or escalate. 7.) My mother has already lost out on the February 2024 Old Persons Grant, are they really going to let this old person loose out on the March 2024 Old Persons Grant.

The Government has failed all these people who have complaint. They are failing all South Africans, Yet come election time all the people here complaining will still cast their balads in favor of the ANC all though they are ******* and self serving. They are only out to fill their pockets with the grants allocated to the Old Persons, The Children and those with Disabilities. They are not for the People. I just with the people out there could wake up and realize that the ANC does not care. If they truly did this would have been sorted out with in 48hours. But I guess the only turn around time they are worried about is how long it takes for the KFC, Chicken Licken and Macdonalds to be delivered maybe it is the fish and chips they are waiting for.
