The good and the bad...

The 5 stars are for Sassa Krugersdorp. I received top service... arrived just before 08.00 and was sorted out by 09:15. Staff/manager were helpful and very friendly! I tried Sassa Bronkhorstspruit a year before...several times waiting full days, as it was the office closest to me, and it was an absolute nightmare...so I gave up! When I moved to Krugersdorp, I decided to try at the Krugersdorp branch, and was so pleasantly surprised. The Bronkhorstspruit branch needs to be investigated. Each time I went there was the same... the staff are watching movies on their phones, including security/reception, and DON'T you dare speak to them. They process at a snails pace, and send people away to get more documentation multiple times... if you dare ask reception what you need, they scream at you to sit down and wait your turn... so you wait until the end of the day to be told, and it's too late. They were ALL incredibly rude, to every single person...and that was every time I was there. There was a black gentleman sitting next to me, and it was his second time... he'd been sent to fetch more documentation twice that day. He had sugar problems, and needed to eat. I scratched enough money, and went to get him something to eat at the cafe. I know he can't eat inside, so I opened the door and called him... I got shouted at, and the door slammed on me... he came out, sat down, and started to eat... he was chased away like a dog. Miriam the "manageress" was only seen when the staff were attacking someone, and they needed a little extra nasty from management! The last visit I had, it was my turn. She accused me of false ID, because why did I only apply at 61? As they had sent me around for documentation for several weeks, I finally had everything (plus a lot I didn't really need) they were running out of "things I need" so, she asked for my husband's death certificate... I explained that we were divorced for 30 years, and he had a new wife. She said I still need it... That's when I gave up. Each time I was there, they were rude every time they spoke. Not once were they helpful. This branch needs a restaffing, as the staff members salaries, are a waste of hardworking tax payers money! (one of which I've been for more than four decades) which is why I deserve my pension.
