SASSA/Durban Bridgecity KwaMashu
writing this with a heavy heart and a little hope that you will collectively look into the matter despite your busy schedule and workload that you have.
My mom and my daughter have been going to SASSA in Durban at KwaMashu Bridgecity with no help. The reasons are definitely not that they missing documents but time and time we talking about is 15:00 to 15:30(Already they won't help the people because they are short staffed)Now both my daughter and my mom they arrive at 6:30 different dates and days from last year November.
What saddens me the most is the manner that they adress the issues of not having enough time and the shortage of staff they have, the level of rudeness is unmatched. All I'm asking is just for you to speak to them to please RESPECT especially the elders,I tried to reason with the Manager because today I was there because I wanted to understand what's going on honestly because you cannot spend months trying to get a service but the reasons are always just not valid.Imagine being constantly turned inside all the time after spending a beautiful 10 hours just for service.
I am not the only one who is not happy and it's harder when you don't know who to beg for help if you just a normal person with no position, money is spent to get to SASSA,Time is spent.Imagine my daughter has to go to school now it's opened without being assisted and even if another day can be chosen she is will be told to go back because SASSA employees don't get paid overtime.Thank you as you will do the right thing and speak to them not to turn people who are already inside, why allow them in and for them to spend 10 hours only to be told to go back home with a certain level of disrespect, mind you different day
