SASSA REFUSING LEANER DISABILITY BECAUSE HE IS 18

So on the 26 of June 2025 my nephew who is currently staying with us turn 18. He does not have any parents and were recieving a disability grand since a small age because he is disable in his feet. When my mom went to sassa with his school information to confirm that he is still attending school she was told he must apply himself, with we have been trying to do since than, my mother was also not aloud to go in with him and the lady working in front just keep on sending this child back, talking her own language, so today the 15/09/25 he ask someone to explain what the lady is saying and again he was told to come in October. What I don't understand is why would they refuse this child a disability while he is still in school and even when he have a letter from a medical doctor stating his disability. This child is currently doing his matric and was depending on this money for a lot of things. For Government to do this to the child is just disgusting.
