SASSA PENSION ******

I am not even sure where to start.... My father who is 72 and bed-ridden, did not received his pension for three months as he did not have the new SASSA card. After much difficulty, SASSA agree to do a home visit for him so that he could be verified and a new card issued. The SASSA official in KZN, Mtn Kobus, was unfortunately unable to get fingerprints from my father and said that she would assist with application at the post office. We went to the post office on 06th March 2019 to have a new card issued to my father but I was informed that his card had already been issued and that two withdrawals (R3000 & R1700) had been made on the card. I find this this pathetic as it was very difficult getting SASSA to assist my father, however someone was able to ***** his card without a question. I have been told that this "*****" will take more than 6 months to investigate and that he will not be compensated for the loss of income. I want to know how pensioners are expected to live without an income. My father is one of the lucky people who lives with family but what about the pensioners that rely only on their state pension? I was also informed that this type of ***** is very common within SASSA, which makes me wonder why nothing has been done to rectify. We keep excusing everything in this country but this is NOT acceptable. *****ing from elderly and sometimes sickly people is evil.
