Sassa Pathetic Online Application Process

Sassa introduced its online application process for all Grant requests.

I’ve unfortunately tried to use this supposedly seamless process to apply for a Grant and on two of the 3 occasions have been forced to do exactly what I was trying to avoid, going to their offices. The waiting time is a minimum of 6 hours and then you are not assured that you will come right. Hence the online route should be the best option all round.

Unfortunately this is so far from the reality it laughable. It takes Sassa close to 3 months to even look at the application and to send you an update on what it is they require further. Once you resubmit the documents the waiting period starts again. Now you could be looking at 5 to 6 months only to be told the another document is required 😡

Resubmit and you will wait and good few months to get a reply only to be told that it maybe best that you go to the offices which is exactly what you were trying to avoid.

Unbelievable bad service especially in this day and age. Quite frankly it’s Disgusting.
