SASSA online service

The SASSA site looks good and efficient, however, nothing on it works. I am an 80 year old with an injury and can not go to SASSA offices. I have been trying to register for the Old Age pension, but after completing registration form, it is supposed to send a verification OTP to continue the application. It simply does not send the required code. I've been trying for 3 days with no success. Their help line does not work either. It' a pity their service does not match up to the design of the SASSA site....
