SASSA - Do you really care????

SASSA.... tried to apply for a disability grant. No process listed on the website. Naturally nobody answers the telephone. Get there, and I need a letter from a Doctor just to start the process. The fact that I am in a wheelchair means nothing. So, iI say I have a letter from docter I just need to print it. Not good enough. It needs to specifically say for the purpose of grant application. Cost to see doctor R1200.00. Then i need to return and get a form to go back to doctor and then back to SAssa to be then referred to the District Surgeon. Then back to SASSA to confirm if I qualify. All this while I am in a wheelchair, needing another human to assist me. Then on the other hand, if you are young, able bodied and need a child grant, because you were not responsible, You can apply online. Excuse me if you think I am angry.
