RIDICULED FOR SPEAKING IN ENGLISH AT SASSA OFFICE

I was at SASSA BENONI the treatment I got there was totally uncalled for. I was ridiculed for speaking in English, I was told straight by one of the officials that I should speak in Zulu if I want them to help me, and when I said why should I do that I was told to take the matter higher if I want to and all I wanted was to find out if they had any info about placing a person in an old age home.. Such instances just reflect badly on our government as these rude people are the ones who are supposed to be providing us with the necessary info that we need.. He even wanted to take my phone when he saw that I was recording the conversation.. The gov should provide customer services programess for them, anger management classes because we can't cope with their anger issues of not accepting that English if part of the 11 official languages and apartheid is over so speaking in English is a choice
