Please explain how sassa operates!!!

so my dad suffers from epilepsy for years, he gets attacks everyday so it’s impossible for him to work due to the harm that he sometimes causes to himself due to this illness, he app**** for social grant but was denied Because apparently my mum has provident fund which she will only get if she dies or leaves work. She’s the only person working at home and her salary isn’t enough for the both of them. How much to factory workers earn???I fail to understand our government and how they operate people who desperately need it are denied due to such stupid reasons seriously. It’s really disappointing our government departments always fail to assist us.
