pension grant witheld

I took my mother to draw her pension fund. There was no funds in the account. I phoned on the first and the gentleman said that The money was in maybe I went to early. I went the next day. No money. I phoned again they told me that there is some investigation going on. It will tAke 14 days for her money to clear! My mother has to pay her flat and has no food. I asked if they can not send somme type of notification to say what is happening. I can take her to Belville to verify but theyy say I can do nothing.
