Impossible to Contact SASSA!!

We are trying to assist our mother with the required bank verification process in order for her to continue receiving her pension. In the light of rampant *******ion, we understand the need to prove she is still alive and that payments are made to the right account.

To avoid being told after long queueing that we do not have the correct information, we simply want to phone SASSA for the right information.

Unbelievably this has proved impossible!!! Most of the numbers on the website no longer exist. (Who is being paid what to maintain the website???!) Only a Pietermaritzburg number worked. Mainly music for ages. When eventually we could speak to a human we were immediately transferred to an announcement "This mailbox is full"!!!!
