Difficulty Updating My Phone Number for SASSA Verification

Review/Complaint: I have been trying to update my phone number on the SASSA system for the past three days, but I keep encountering an error when attempting to take the verification photo. Despite multiple attempts, the system does not allow me to complete the process.

I have already contacted SASSA, and they advised me to visit the police station to complete an affidavit and bring certified copies of my ID, along with R70 for a printout. This process has caused unnecessary delays and stress, especially since I rely on SASSA services.

I hope SASSA can address this issue promptly and improve their system to make such updates easier for beneficiaries.
