Complaint against SASSA

I Patricia Olifant have a complaint with SASSA. On the 2nd of May 2021 my husband passed on and on the 4th of May 2021 his SASSA pension grant was paid into his account. Unfortunately, we did not have his card pin to withdraw this money. We then went to SASSA to ask them to assist us with his pin and they told us that they cannot restart the system for them to create a pin, what we can do is to go to the post office and request for the statement so that they can make the claim for us. Post office printed us the statement then we gave them all the documentations that they requested for them to make a claim. The person who was helping us with this claim is Trevor Malavi and his details are as follows: Name: Trevor Malavi Cell: *** Email: *** or *** Trevor was communicating with my brother over email; however, I still did not receive my husband’s payout and it is still lying in his account. During August, I even went to the post office to request the payout since Trevor mentioned that he has done his part of sending the claim to the Post Office head office so I should go to the Post Office and ask them to release the money. What they said to me was that they do not work with claims of the deceased and I should go back to SASSA for the payout. I then went back to Trevor and what he said was that he will look for the Post Office head office number and contact them, then he will update me. I am still waiting for feedback as to when I should expect my payout. Post Office employees do not even have name badges nor tags for identification. Please intervene in this regard. My late husband’s details are as follows: Name: Ezekiel Moses Olifant ID number: *** Date of death: 02 May 2021 | Date of burial: 06 May 2021 Please feel free to reach me at any time on *** or ***
