Benoni SASSA branch and it's horrible service

I'm a senior citizen and I received such poor service this morning at the Benoni SASSA offices. Elderly people arriving extremely early in the cold and queue outside only to get cut off and turned away without receiving any help. We're honestly being treated horribly.

Apparently they can only help 50 people a day, while there are people coming from Wattville, Actonville, Benoni, Daveyton, E****wa and C*****dene. I suggest that the SASSA offices should start operating on weekends so they can help more people finish with the process that they've called us in for. I would also suggest that there be SASSA branch opened in Daveyton so it can also cater for residents surrounding that area. We honestly cannot afford to keep returning to the SASSA offices every morning only to get turned away and the conditions are bad too. I'm sick and tired of all this bad service that we are subjected to.

We call on the minister of social development, and the major of Ekurhuleni to urgently do something about this issue.
