EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND APPARENT SWINDLING
Dear Sir/ Ma'am, I am in proper distress due to the ill customer service that I have received from the Pioneer Foods (Sasko) in Ladysmith. I did a small tender deal for my business with them and mainly dealt with a lady called Chanita (her email address: Shankuthla.Rancho****psico.com). The tender was to supply bread to a Correctional Services DAILY during the month of March 2022 and this particular Sasko (Ladysmith) was my supplier. 1) She delayed the opening of my account for sourcing the bread from their Sasko at R10.90 as she had mentioned for tender deals at their branch. She caused the supply to be at the normal rate of R12.50 for me although I had sent her all the documentation, while denying me to open the account. She kept requesting for documentation that I was making clear to her that it was not applicable for my order. She finally understood and allowed me to open the account which I could fund upfront and hence get bread at R10.90 as indicated by them (Mind you she did not effect this change. I explain later in bullet 5). 2) I asked that they send TO ME AS THEIR CLIENT images/ scans/ pdf copies of the delivery notes to my Client. They did not do that although I asked for a few times even in the form of simple WhatApp photos. So when the order was completed and I requested for these so that I can invoice my own Client, Chanita only sent me a FRACTION of them (attached). I have been asking for the rest of them since last month until last week. They still did not send them. I had to make a plan for invoicing my Client. Chanita told me straight up that "SHE DOES NOT WORK FOR ME", although I was never rude in any way to any of them. 3) There was a balance left on my account which I requested that it be paid back to my business account. They made me fill in a form three weeks ago. I believe that I got the instruction from Kriting with this following email address: ***. I completed the form and sent it back to them right on the same day, but up to this day, I am waiting for that credit. No one takes my calls and no one returns them while I know from experience that their phones tell them which number called them. They know my number. Last week I also sent an email asking them when should I expect the refund and none of them have bothered to respond to me up to now. 4) I did multiple follow ups on both the issues above (item 2 and 3) and ended up involving the Rep that was assisting me with orders for my account. He is Mxolisi Lembethe with this email address: *** He said he would assist me with item 3 above, until he joined everyone ignoring my follow-up emails and phone calls. 5) This item links to item 1 above, Chanita had indicated to me that upon the opening of my account with them, the price of R10.90 would then be applicable/ effected on all/ on the rest of my bread orders. However, in the fraction of the invoices that she sent to me, I realised that even after I had opened my account, they were still charging me R12.50 per loaf.I have followed up countless times with her, Mxolisi and Praveen for them to credit my account for being wrongfully charged R12.50 on what was a tender deal and while having an account with them. My emails have been getting ignored and I have been getting strung along this whole month.
Now, I am seeking effective intervention from the Sasko Customer Care Service for justice and rightful customer treatment on this matter; both in paying me back the balance on my account, crediting me for loaves as they were overcharged and teaching the team at Ladysmith to take small customers seriously. Small customers are small businesses and getting mis-treated by big organisations like Pioneer Foods just does not make sense. If they withold such small change from upcoming businesses, I am not sure how much they treat and frustrate the bigger customers. I have attached the scanned document of the fraction of receipts and the balance that was supposed to be credited to my business bank account. I am really disappointed to say the least. And you are my last resort after endless weeks of effort BEGGING your Ladysmith team to execute business rightly with me. Please advise if you need any further details. I look forward to your kind assistance urgently. Kind regards, Zama Mhlanga
