Poor Workmanship; Poor Customer Service; Incapable Staff

Had an accident claim in April 2023 and my car was sent to Sanrose. After months of waiting for the repairs to be done I was eventually told my car was ready for collection. Upon collection I noticed many issues with the car and returned it and requested they be repaired immediately. Some repairs relating to the accident and others as a result of sitting at Sanrose for over 5 months. My car door was dented and damaged while at Sanrose and the manager Andy told me that "it was there before maybe I just cant remember because its been so long". I then went with him to look at the pictures taken of my car when it arrived at Sanrose and proved to him that it was damaged by Sanrose and they are responsible for fixing the damage. My sunroof mechanism was also damaged, the auxi****y battery faulty and the bonnet not fitted flush. Very poor workmanship.

I returned over 4 times to collect my car and even wrote a snags list of the repairs still needed. I was told on the 4th time to come collect my car as the repairs are complete. When I arrived I went through my list and noticed not 1 of the 14 things listed had been repaired and the mechanics had never even received my list of snags and I would not be compensated for my travelling from Alberton to Midrand each time.

I recently sent my car in for a service and asked them to replace my front right tyre to match the new front left replaced by Sanrose as part of the original claim. I was told the tyre replaced by Sanrose was not a run flat however all my other tyres are run flats. I drive a 4x4 and all my tyres need to match.

The original claim was to replace parts with Mercedes parts and not generic parts however judging from other reviews as well as my own experience, I believe if I had to send my car to another panelbeater to assess, they would find a lot of short-cuts, generic parts and poor workmanship.

Customer service is pathetic to say the least.

I urge whoever reads this review to find yourself another autobody shop and stay far away from Sanrose as they are incapable of handling repairs. Mercedes- Benz should remove them as an approved Mercedes repairs shop.
