Unfair Policies

My e-tag was lost and/or damaged in an accident in which my car was written off. I called SANRAL call centre to report the incident and open another account for my new car. To my surprise I was told that their policies requires me to pay R150 for the e-tag device despite the circumstances under which it was lost and/or damaged. For God's sake I was involved in an ACCIDENT in which my car was written off, how could I be expected to think about an etag device in such circumstances? But somehow SANRAL policies requires one to neglect ones life and those of his/her family in accidents and search for an e-tag device in the damaged car, which is inherently unsafe after being involved in an accident. I thinking of cancelling the whole thing and join the MILLIONS of people who don't pay.
