Toll booth tellers close when they feel like
Today, at around 16:35 i was passing the Mvoti toll going towards Stanger. The light at the top of the 7th Que was green when i entered. I was surprised to find that no one was there. The teller probably saw me but was not bothered at all, as he/she was still getting paid, regardless of what she does the whole day. Whats even more disappointing is that this had happened before. Same as this time, only difference is that this time i saw the teller look at me and just close her door and walk off!!! How the hell are these people trained??? I called the head office, spoke to Nelly who admitted that this was poor service, phoned her on two occasions after that to ask if this had been brought to the attention of the manager and she just said that she forgot, thats it!! Had she done the correct thing and rectified the matter then and there this would not have happened again. I had to then reverse, an then gap in at the next line during peak traffic due to the long weekend. Cant management understand that during peak hours, more toll booth's should be open??? Weekdays at 5:30pm only 3 of the 7 booth\s are open causing huge traffic delays!! What are consumers paying for??"
