<p>This relates to the Tongaat toll plaza, now called the oTongaat toll plaza, with new signage. Seems like there is no control or supervision. There are often long queues, 20 minute waits, simply because sanral cannot open enough toll booths. And why not introduce a tag lane and a credit card lane? It is not difficult to work out that long weekends, Fridays and Gauteng school holidays require more booths to be open? To wait 20 minutes on a Friday simply because only two booths are open is frustrating. It dis take two years for Sanral from the PMB office to phone me about the single booth open for the 1000 kids going to school. Although the PMB sanral employee was rude at least the second booth is now open. Surely it cannot be diffult to open more booths when the toll gate is going to be busy. Is there any management at all at the toll booth, I think not. If there was , then more booths would be open when there are queues from the airport turnoff. To summarise 1) Introduce management 2) Open more booths during busy times 3) Anticipate busy times, its easy 4) Introduce a tag lane and a credit card lane</p>
