EToll required - No compensation 4 damage on roads

I think it is highly unfair that Etoll is forcing us to pay for usage on the roads, as I have made a claim for using the R21/N1 which is maintained by them. They are passing the buck and refuse to pay for damages to my car. why should I claim from my insurance when they are requesting us to pay etolls for the use of their roads. I think the roads are poorly maintained as I picked up a spanner on the road that pierced my car tyre and damaged my rear bumper. <br> <br> SANRAL referred the matter to the Engineers i.e. the contractors for the roads and obviously no one wants to take responsibility to pay for the damages. Furthermore the persons that were assisting me in the claim forgot about me and this was stated in the emails that went back and forth. <br> <br> All the necessary documentation was sent to the relevant parties with a poor outcome.<br> <br> I think this was handled in a biased manner.<br> <br> I urge SANRAL to comment on the matter and if they want us the citizens of this country to pay etoll they should consider our claims seriously. <br> <br> Concerned citizen.<br>
