Sanral linked sold vehicle back to my profile and expects me to pay

I sold my vehicle with car registration number WWV236GP on 12/10/2016 and went to the Sanral offices to cancel the e-toll device linked to the vehicle.

I have never been able to download the software to view my accounts and diligently paid my etoll initially thinking it was only for my currently vehicle until I recently received an etoll statement in the mail stating that I needed to pay R731.06 for vehicle registration WWV236GP.

How can Sanral simply link the vehicle back to my profile - it is not my car!!!! It was sold to someone else!!!!

How much have I paid already for this car without knowiing???

I would like a full reconciliation per month in a proper PDF that I can open without downloading software emailed to me since the inception of etoll with pictures for each transaction so that I may check which transactions were truly for me.

I will not be paying a further cent towards etoll until this matter is resolved!!!

From the response I have received previously on enquiries for proper PDF statements that I NEVER received - I would say this is likely NEVER going to happen (me paying again that is).

I want this matter resolved ASAP if that is even possible as all SANRAL have been good for is taking money - not maintaining the roads, not providing service, not training staff.
