SANRAL E Tolls - bogus invoices - be careful!

SANRAL E Tolls are sending out bogus invoices to people - for vehicles that they don't own and that are not licensed to them. I just received one such invoice - for a bus ! - which I apparently own according to Sanral - clearly they must be desperate - to start fabricating invoices in the hope that someone will pay them. The licensing dept. confirms that the invoice I received is invalid and are investigating this and many other similar bogus invoices emanating from Sanral E toll. I tried to contact Sanral E Tolls but they haven't responded.

I contacted SANRAL e tolls on FB this is there reply: Hi Mike,

"Since there has been various applications dealing with the e-toll system such as the suspension of the e-tolls, the mobility app etc. Several information might have been rearranged and distributed incorrectly. We apologise for the inconvenience. Would you kindly send us your email address and contact details so that we make sure the invoices are reversed.

Thank you"

" Several information might have been rearranged and distributed incorrectly. " - that says so much about SARAL. Incompetence that rivals Eskom and SAA.
