No Compassion for the Elderly

I have just been to the park for 4 nights (Ngwenya Lodge accommodation) with my father who has dementia of 85 and my mother who is 80. I broke my ankle in November & have only recently come off crutches. I was berated on Sanparks feed on facebook as not being the correct forum to complain. However, this morning I see somebody who is in a wheelchair complaining about able bodied people parking in disabled parking bays!!! How rude is that? Not acceptable. These road-hoggers/selfish people should be fined. I had to stand in a queue when I asked at Malelane Gate - her name was Zodwa who instead chose to be rude to me. Surely elderly people should be treated with respect like in the banks and the like, as they do overseas. We filled in the forms the day before so as NOT to hold up anybody. Is there no consideration or compassion in this life anymore? One comment was so rude saying if 20 elderly people arrived they would NOT wait. They will get their turn one day in their old age and then they will see what it feels like. It is unacceptable. There were two (1 for men and 1 for women) portable toilets on a busy long weekend at Malelane Gate. Renovating the existing ones of which there are only 3. What about the other side of the existing ones? 3 toiles for the masses/droves in the park over a long weekend. Afsaal and Nkulu leave much to be desired in their little shops. Whoever runs those two shops have no clue about business. They could have made a fortune with planning and running the place properly. What is wrong with people these days?
