Mountain Bikers are an Accident waiting to happen

<p>What was the thinking behind putting mountain bike trails along foot paths used by casual hikers? Walking in Cecelia Forest this morning two mountain bikers came hurtling around a blind bend narrowly missing a group of 30 young school children on a field trip. This peaceful forest walk has been used by many casual hikers for decades! How can anyone in their sane mind think that it is okey to mix mountain bikers with walkers - youth groups, mothers with young children, fathers with babies in backpacks, grandparents and, of course, umteen dogs! All it takes is a biker to skid on loose pebbles trying to avoid one of these hikers and there will be an horrible accident - potentially fatal!</p>
