I received my yearly medical aid certificate from Samwumed for SARS submission, there was a miscalculation done for Jan, Feb 2023. These two months reflected zero contributions from my portion and yet on my salary as per payslip indicates the deductions were done. I have been reaching out to Samwumed to have this resolved since July 2023, the consultants i spoke to do acknowledge that they can see my payments and error has been made from their side. I am frustrated that they are not sending me the update/correct medical tax certificate as this has affected my SARS assessment., SARS is now at a point of sending garnishing orders to my employer as it shows on their side that i owe R8500.00 because of this error done by my medical aid.

I urgently need an updated/corrected Medical Aid certificate, i have reached out to them several times, this has been ongoing since July 2023, getting reference numbers and yet am getting no help at all. The last time i reached out in March 2024 they promised to have this resolved and i still dont have the correct document to send to SARS. I am not in a financial position of having SARS garnishing me as the error was not on my end
