***** AND EMBEZZLEMENT SANCTIONED BY MANDATE

For the past few 10 years or so, SAMRO the south african music rights organisation has been becoming less and less accountable, none of their so called service agents will ever be held to account for mistakes they make and none will tell me why I am not being paid royalties which have been due to me for several years.<br> <br> SAMRO operates under common law ostensibly enforcing the copyright act under mandate by the composers authors and music publishers locally and internationally via the international rights federation CISAC.<br> <br> So, SAMRO have the sole mandate in South Africa to collect and distribute performance royalties earned on radio, tv, film and live. I'm sure there is no problem collecting, it's the distribution that is failing me. SAMRO does not stick to advertised payment schedules, it does not change incorrect registrations or even compositions notified by me. As a result of queries dragging on for years, after 3 years no monies are paid. I am not being paid and neither are my clients as a result of this. I call this institutionalised ***** and embezzlement, apart from writing it down here, I will report them to the Hawks for ***** and embezzlement going back all the way to '09
