SALT employee benefit fund is a complete joke

The incompetence of this provident fund is shocking, to say the least.

It's taken the fund exactly 11 months to do absolutely nothing regarding my withdrawal claim.

I've had to email them an endless amount of documents because they keep going missing off their system, or they can't find the email, yet I have the longest paper trail confirming submission of all the necessary requested documents. I've also had to follow-up regularly since there is absolutely no communication. A complaint was lodged with the provident fund adjudicators and a resolution was made. The outcome has been ignored and the fund continue to request documents which have been sent on numerous occasions.

My only conclusion is that the fund is sitting with high cash reserves if payouts are not being made timeously.

I have nothing positive to say about this fund. Their customer service is non existent. No one knows what's happening and there's absolutely no communication between the departments.

I only gave 1 star because in order to make a review I needed to select one but I would confidently give them -100 stars.
