Poor Service Pension Payout Overdue

Good day,

I resigned from a Security company on the 3rd of November 2017 and filled the pension form and attached the supporting documents and emailed the pension fund department for a pay out.

I followed up telephonically and they later told me in December on the 12th 2017 to make amendments on the form and resubmit. I did this on the 12th of December and to date I have not received my pension payment.

All I get from their consultants when I call to follow up is that call after 10 days and nothing actually happens even after following up after the next 10 days.

I want to know why is it protracted and why should one struggle to get their funds.

How can a pension payout take over 6 weeks to process.
