Poor experience

<p>My child father passed on in August 2011 . For the last few years there was no communication between me (Mmakoena Phaho) as the legal guardian of my child (Shegofatso Phaho) and PSSPS-Salts .Last year December 2016 Ditlamelo benefit contacted me that there is a benefit that need to be paid to my daughter . I have forwarded all required documents in December 2016 as per their instructions .Only 35% was paid to me in December 2016 and the remaining 65% for the child was invested to a Trust account (Bophelo benefit fund) without my consent . There was no formal communication between me and the accused on what should happen to the 65% . See below communication from PFA and their final determination , however the fund(PSSPF) has not responded yet .Numerous follow up were done however the Deteremination was only sent out to the Trustee on the 13 Oct 2017 . An employee from Soonderinc was the one communicating between PFA and Bophelo Benefit, the Determination was sent to him in August 2017 and he never consulted the Trustees of the fund and Bophelo Benefit. I phoned him on the 02 October 2017 and i asked him when will the case be finalized and he said to me he does not have the money with an attitude and instructed me to go and get the funds from Bophelo Benefit while he knew exactly that he did not forwarded the Determination to the Trustee. Today 23 October 2017 i send him an email asking when did he sent the Determination letter to the fund he read my email but did not repond . Then i sent another one and he reponded that the determination was sent to the Fund on the 13 October 2017. I asked him why was it only sent late when he got the determination letter in August 2017. [6] ORDER 6.1 In the result , the oredr of this Tribunal is as follows: 6.1.1 The decision of the first responded to pay 65% of Shegofatso's death benefit into the second respondedt is hereby set aside; 6.1.2 The borad of the first repondent is direct to indicate to the complainant and this Tribunal the factors it took into consideration to show that the complainant is unable to manage the death benefit allocated to Shegofatso,withinthree weeks of this determination; 6.1.3 Should the first respondent fail to comply with paragrapg 6.1.2, thenm it ordered to pay the death benefit allocated to Shegofatso to the complainant within four weeks og the date of this determination ;</p>
