PATHETIC!

My father (Trevor Clive Tattoli) *** passed away in April 2018, in June my sister and myself received the funeral amount of R50000...My mom had to speak to my fathers sisters, brother, for affidavits. We had to give affidavits as well..all documents were sent in before the funeral benefit was paid out, When we put the claim in for my fathers provident fund it was said the investigation will take at least 12 months from DATE OF DEATH! good day, please note death claims take up to year to be resolved upon receipt of all relevant documentations. (This is the answer that was on Hello Peter regarding complaints against salteb)

From the time the funeral benefit was paid out till April 2019 no correspondence was sent to us as to how the claim was proceeding, or if any documents were outstanding,After April 2019 I started phoning the call Centre, now this is where it starts to get complicated, every time I phone, each call centre agent tells me a different story!. They either still investigating, don't worry payment will be made in June, my mom received a phone call from a Khanyisile Dlamini who said they needed an affidavit from her to pay the money out ,or there's an outstanding affidavit but they cant say who they need it from, the next time you phone they say there's nothing outstanding and they will escalate the claim to a team leader! This is unacceptable, how can you have different stories from a call centre agent, Do they actually know whats going on! If we don't enquire about the claim, then you don't hear a word from Salteb!. If any documentation is outstanding phone us, don't phone every 3rd month and say we need this.. we need that! If I don't hear from Salteb by month end when payment will be made I will contact HELLO PETER, and write to the PENSION ADJUDICATOR! This claim is now 17 MONTHS. This is a DISGRACE!
