Unending Wrong Payment Requests

I pay my TV License on an annual basis. On 21 May 2021, I got a notification that I owed 344.50 for my TV License. I made payment and on 25 May 2021, may outstanding balance was communicated to be 52.85 which I settled by 01 June 2021. This morning on 08 July 2021, I get a message saying that I owe 290.85 for my TV License. I do not work to make the SABC rich and I hardly watch SABC. Why do I need to pay so much money for owning a TV? I additionally called the TV License department and I was kept on hold for so many minutes that I hung up. So they won't even take my calls for enquiry and want me to keep paying. I cannot be paying so much for a TV License.
