Unacceptable harrassment by SABC

My mother retired last year june and came to live with us in ctn. Shortly prior to her retirement her tv set broke and wasn't replaced. Her tv license was paid up until September 2014.

The license (***) was cancelled, phone calls made, faxes send, letters written and affidavits posted via registered post after numerous harassing calls from SABC representatives. We thought the matter was resolved. We still have proof of all this correspondence.

This morning we received a sms from ssda claiming she owed over R500 and must be paid within 7 days to avoid legal action or contact them. This is going to cost money again for the telephone call which will not be refunded!!! This continuous **** up reflects negatively on her credit report as well as upset my mom terribly. Maybe its time we start threatening with legal action too...

How difficult is it for a company as big as SABC to continuously make such mistakes!?!?!
