Unable to cancel TV license!!!!

On the 19th Nov 2020 I advised SABC TV that I dnt own a TV and wanted to cancel the licence. I went to the local police station and swore out an affidavit. Then sent an email to their cancellations department with the attachments. Now I am still receiving messages to tell me i must pay my due amount. It strikes me that no one in the SABC knows what they are doing. They are shapely useless !!!!!!!
