Tv license payments

I am fairly disappointed in SABC tv license in how my fees were handled in the year of 2022. In January I requested to make payment of the usual amount of R250 and was informed I do not owe any amount therefore I cannot pay this carried on till October 2022 where I received a message informing me I owed R442.50 and I have been handed over to Revco ref no: ***. I then proceeded to pay the usual amount of R250 by Spar paypoints on 30/10/2022. I then received a message on 08/12/2022 informing me that I still owe R310. I am puzzled by these amounts and cannot understand how I owe R310 after making payment or how the R442.50 accumulated because I did not have outstanding amounts from previous years. As a pensioner I cannot afford these amounts, May you kindly please assist me in this matter. Thank you.
