TV LICENSE

I was a TV License holder up until 1997 when my ex husband took over the TV License. I paid up all the money outstanding in that year. It is now 2020 and I am still getting an account for this license. SABC said that I should get hold of my ex husband, get him to make an affidavit to the fact that he continued to pay for the TV License, or find my receipt from 1997. According to the TAX Law you are supposed to keep records for 7 years, which I did. After 23 years they are now asking me to find that documentation or obtain an Affidavit. both of which i am unable to do I have ON MANY OCCASSIONS explained the above to them however there is no communication with them they keep sending me accounts. I wish I could forward the TV Statement to you as now they have made it from 06.10.2019. What happened to all the years in between? How do I get my name off their data base and how do I get them to stop harassing me.
